COMMERCIAL IMPROVEMENT AREA (CIA) GRANT & INDUSTRIAL IMPROVEMENT AREA (IIA) GRANT (CAPITAL FUNDING)
The grant assists with costs for external building improvements. Environmental and internal improvements may also be considered. All works must be within the curtilage of the property. Applicants must have a minimum 5 year lease or own the freehold on the property.
The property must be located within a designated Commercial/Industrial Improvement Area.

COMMUNITY & PROMINENT BUILDING GRANT (CAPITAL FUNDING)
The grant assists with costs for external building improvements. Environmental and internal improvements may also be considered. All works must be within the curtilage of the property. Applicants must have a minimum 5 year lease or own the freehold on the property.
To be eligible the building will have some significant structural or community feature or be in a prominent position.

REGENERATION GRANT (CAPITAL FUNDING)

The grant assists businesses not eligible under the Objective 1 Grant Programme.

Business Start Up Grant (CAPITAL FUNDING)
The grant programme assists small businesses who have not yet started trading with their early set-up costs. This might include funding towards an initial outlay on equipment or overheads. The business must be based in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Applicants must either pay residential or business rates to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to be eligible for consideration under the Business Start-up Grant Programme.
Applicants will be required to prepare a Business Plan with the guidance of a Business Advisor from an Enterprise Agency.

E-Commerce (non-objective 1) (CAPITAL FUNDING)
The grant assists business not eligible under the Objective 1 grant programme to gain or develop an internet presence. Eligible items may include design of website and registration of domain name. The business must be based in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Applicants must either pay residential or business rates to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to be eligible for consideration under the E-Commerce Grant Programme.
