We are a family-owned business started in Aberdare by Alan Sheppard 30 years ago. The company has now expanded to 24 branches and serves a large community in the South Wales Valleys area, with branches also in Pencoed and Goodwick.
Our aim is to achieve the highest level of primary healthcare provision to the local community. We will endeavour to provide a full range of quality goods and services that are value for money and readily accessible to all in need of them.

As your local community pharmacy we can offer a wide range of services and facilities for you and your family.
Dispensing Prescriptions
We dispense NHS and private prescriptions and advise on how best to take your medicines. We will record prescriptions we dispense on our computerised Patient Medication Record to enable us to check suitability of your medication and check for interactions.
Repeat Dispensing
If your doctor agrees you will be able to collect repeat prescriptions from us without having to worry about ordering the prescription at your surgery.
Unwanted Medicines
Can be returned to the Pharmacy where we will safely dispose of them.
Health Advice
A pharmacist is available to advise you in confidence on medicines, healthy lifestyles, minor illnesses and accessing other local health care providers. We stock a wide range of medicines for over the counter purchase to help with self-care.
Surgical Appliances
We supply surgical stockings, trusses, stoma and incontinence appliances and can provide help and advice including measurement and fitting.
Residential & Nursing Homes
We can provide a full pharmaceutical service to homes including monitored dosage systems.

Collection & Delivery
At the patient or carer’s request we can collect prescriptions from patients and from surgeries and deliver them to your home.
