How to make a personalised greeting card

How to make a personalised greeting card:

Step 1: Visit your local Arts and Craft shop and browse around. There are large selections of packed cards, which can be used with other arts and craft materials such as photos or cut outs from magazines….

Step 2: Take your blank card and open it out so that the view hole in the middle section of the card lies flat on the table.

Step 3: Take your photo and lay it face down on top of the card – gently hold the photo in place and turn the card over to find its best fit. Take your ruler and gently mark a line making sure that your photo will cover the hole in the card and leave enough of a margin to glue.

Step 4: Once your photo has been cut to size you can apply some glue carefully around the perimeter of the hole in the card and place your photo gently over it.

Step 5: Your card now needs to be assembled so you now need to apply glue to the left hand expanse of card, (apply the glue sparingly as too much glue will wrinkle the card), then fold the card to cover the back of your picture.

Step 6: Now your card is assembled you can decorate the front. This can be done by writing a message or alternatively by using a message tag. Simply peel the tag and stick in a position of choice.

Step 7: Now your card is finished. All that’s left now is to write inside and then post it!!!!!

Cards can be decorated in all sorts of ways. Experiment and you’ll find you will come up some interesting idea’s!!!….
