Lifelong Learning

The Spring quarter has been very busy for all the different lifelong learning groups, in particular those of the digital photography and digital story-telling.  Many of these members are now supporting our efforts to record and display our local history, through the various forms of digital media as part of our new heritage project.

Having a break from lecture based learning, we try to get out on field trips as often as possible and visit sites of historical or photgraphical interest.  Our last trip saw us visit Chepstow Castle and Tintern Abbey.  (See picture below)

Crafts

The craft group have now turned their hand to using freshwater pearls and crystal glass as well as our more traditional semi-precious stones, creating many new and unique works of art.

Anyone wishing to share in these experiences should contact Emrys at The BELL Centre on 01443 730749.

Work produced by the various classes will be on show and some items for sale at The Great Welsh Bite, Pontypridd Park Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3rd, 4th, 5th August.  Come along and sign up for our fun classes!

The Lifelong Learning Project is funded by Esmee Fairburne and supported by our partners The Arts Factory Ferndale.
