Hafod Housing Association is a registered social landlord which means we provide affordable, good quality homes to people in housing need. We believe that a home is more than just bricks and mortar and invest in our communities by working with tenants and residents to improve their quality of life.
In Rhydyfelin we have 94 properties, a mixture of flats and houses, off Pinewood Avenue in Maes Ganol, Maes Uchaf and Glan Y Nant. Our Community Office is situated in the heart of this estate, in a converted first floor two bedroom flat.
The Community Office was officially opened in December 2005. It was established to ease the demand for community venues in the area and also to provide a base for our Neighbourhood Worker. Today the Office is used by Hafod’s current Community Development Worker and Apprentice and has a vibrant range of activities held in the Office.
