Maximising Opportunities project - Expert Panel Sessions
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council’s successful Maximising Opportunities project is now running in the Glyncoch area. Following a free Money Advice Event that was held in January, the Equality, Diversity and Social Justice team are now arranging for ‘expert’ advisors from local agencies to hold free advice sessions in the local community.
Organisations that are taking part in this initiative include:-
- The Citizens Advice Bureau,
- Dragon savers Credit Union,
- Job Centre Plus,
- Careers Wales,
- Coleg Morgannwg,
- Action 4 Employment,
- RCT Affordable Warmth Group,
- Interlink,
- Age Concern,
- The Genesis project.
Are you worried about money, thinking about education or training, or unsure how to get back into work? Do you need advice on the benefits you might be entitled to, or help with making a benefit claim? Do you have debts or find it difficult to get credit and loans? If so, we can provide advisors who can answer these questions and help you to access the services and opportunities that are available to you.
If you or a group of people would like information on any of these topics please call the Equality, Diversity and Social Justice team on 01443 424182 to arrange an ‘Expert Panel Session’ with our advisors. All sessions are free and will be held in local venues.
