Taff Ely Parent Forum
The Forum meets every month, usually on the first Tuesday, at 10-30am at Trforest Day Centre. The agenda is dictated by current parent and carer's issues and events. We hope, in the near future, to introduce some evening meetings to include parents and carers who are unable to attend during the day.
The Forum works with other people and groups who have an interest in, or have an effect on, services provided to people with a learning disability.
The Forum will act upon any concerns or issues that parents and carers bring to our attension.
Many people think they have a concern which is unique to them. We have found that few concerns are unique, but have been concers of others in the past. PROBLEMS ARE OUR SPECIALITY. If you have a problem or concern please contact any one of us and we will do our best to advise or help.
If you would like your problem or concern dealt with confidentially, the Chairman, or any of the committee members would be willing to meet with you, wherever you wish, to ensure that confidentiality.
All our meetings are open, and all Parents and Carers of people with a learning disability are welcome to attend. We would also like to invite those individuals, or Organisations, who have an interest in helping those with a learning disability, to attend our meetings. They would be made very welcome.
