 The Fedw Hir Eco Centre
The headquarters of Groundwork Merthyr & Rhondda Cynon Taff is based at Fedw Hir. The buildings are set in 14 acres of meadow and woodland and have been developed into a sustainable environmental
training centre.
The centre has a newly fitted out carpentry workshop and greenwood area, new mobile classrooms and facilities to carry out environmental and outdoor skills training. Part funded by the ESF Bro Dysg ‘Learning for Growth’ Programme and Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council.
The Training centre can be used for formal or informal training courses in a large variety of environmental or educational needs.
