learndirect offers around 500 different courses covering a range of subjects, including management, IT, Skills for Life and languages, at all levels. More than three quarters of the courses are available online allowing people to learn wherever they have access to the internet - at home, at work or at a learndirect centre.

Glamorgan offers over 200 courses and it has one of the best graduate employment rates in the UK to prove it.

Glamorgan Outreach offers off-campus learning opportunities for learners of all ages (above 18), from all backgrounds and all walks of life. Working in partnership with a wide range of community centre locations throughout South East Wales
As well as partnership projects within the Community University of the valleys, Glamorgan Outreach runs accredited and non-accredited courses in the community. We offer short courses to suit your requirements from IT, Languages, Arts and Crafts, through to Starting your Own Enterprise, and to make it that little bit more flexible our courses start at various times throughout the year!

City & Guilds qualifications are valued by employers because they’re developed in conjunction with key industry bodies – so they’re always relevant and up to date.

Skillswise is the BBC website for adults who want to improve their basic skills in reading, writing and maths. Skillswise aims to become a thriving web community of learners and tutors. The Skillswise website is based on the Adult and Literacy and Numeracy Core Curriculums for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Arts Factory runs a wide variety of classes in their Learning for Life Programme. Classes are run in Trerhondda Chapel, Highfield and in various Outreach venues throughout RCT. These include classes for children as well as adults, with a diverse age range. Every class is free to Arts Factory members, membership cost just £1 per year!

Valleys Kids is a charity working with disadvantaged children and families in the valleys of South Wales. All the activities and opportunities offered are open access and free of charge.
