This section aims to give you a bit more information about what eduction in Wales means for you and your child. It explains what the National Curriculum is and what's expected of your child, as well as providing some helpful advice and giving you some useful links.

 

This section contains links to a number of different sites that offer a range of advice to parents, from bathing them as babies to helping them start primary and secondary school.

This section provides links to information about the National Curriculum from the Welsh Assembly to help give you a clearer idea of what your child is being taught and how his or her progress will be measured. There is also useful information and helpful tips from ParentsCentre, though it is important to note that whilst this site is helpful and a good resource it only covers the national curriculum in England,  so whilst most of it will be relevant, there are some differences to the Welsh national curriculum.
