Dear Sir

HIRWAUN

I WISH TO REGISTER MY CONCERN REGARDING THE FOLLOWING: -

  1. The over development of Hirwaun as regards Housing
  2. The proposed housing development on the Gloucester’s Field – a village recreational area and SINC site
  3. The unacceptable delay in regenerating the Ironworks site and developing a Riverside Park
  4. Current and future traffic problems – gridlock is envisaged in the village centre due to proposed housing and road developments
  5. The closure of our police station
  6. The proposed wind farm
  7. The lack of PROPER community consultation on these and other major issues, e.g. the local development plans

I respectfully request that Rhondda Cynon Taf Council organise a public meeting at which the communities’ concerns can be raised with elected representatives and other statutory groups/relevant professionals.

Yours faithfully
