Riding Club Camp

We are gointg to arrange the next camp for the first week of July. We will be attending the Heart of Wales riding school nr Llandrindod Wells with the option of staying in a local bed and breakfast (you can also camp at the riding school if preferred). The camp will consist of a mixture of flatwork and jumping lessons, and hacks. You can take your own horse or ride one of the schools horses.

The camp is open to Briars Bridleways members age 14 + (people below the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Exact dates etc will be confirmed shortly. A deposit will be required to secure a place on camp.

Llangorse Lakes ride August 2008

The Llangorse lakes ride went ahead as planned despite the terrible weather the previous day. The ride took about 2 and a half hours over 17km. For photos see Gallery 2 page.

Riding Club Camp

Riding club camp went ahead and was enjoyed by all. We are hoping to return to Heart of Wales in the near future.

Due to the weather we spent the two days having lessons in the indoor arena. The lessons were varied including flatwork and jumping. We stayed in a local pub the Severn Arms, we enjoyed good food and a warm welcome. We returned home on Saturday a bit tired and aching but happy.
