On Public Transport
If you're trying to get to one of the hospitals in RCT on public transport then the Traveline Public Transport Journey Planner can help you plan your journey. The link to the Traveline Journey Planner can be found beneath the hospital postcodes.
All you need to do is enter the details of where you're starting your journey from, so could be your home address. Then you need to put in the postcode of the hospital that you're going to (choose from the list below). You can then either enter the time and date that you want to be at the hospital for, or you can enter the time and date that you want to leave, to find out what public transport services are available to match your time. The Planner will automatically search for all possible modes of transport for your journey, including: bus, coach, rail, ferry and air. If you wanted to change this, for example, if you only wanted to travel by bus then click on 'change' under Mode of Transport and just select that you would like to travel by bus.
Once you've done this if you click on 'search' it will find all the different public transport methods for your journey, e.g. buses and trains available. Telling you what service you need, where, when and how long it will take.
