 Who are you?
Rob Warren - Community Outreach Advisor for Rhondda Cynon Taf
What did you do before Shape-it.org?
Too many to list all but immediately before this job I work in the Pensions section of RCT in the Communication team. I looked after their website, designed and delivered presentations and anything else communication like !
What are your interests?
Anything outdoors. I love scuba diving, canoeing, mountain biking, snowboarding and am trying to get into kite surfing.
What’s your favourite food?
A good Chinese meal.
What’s your favourite drink?
Depends on my mood but a good real ale, single malt or red wine are always good. Basically my motto is “Life is to short for bad beer!”
If you were stranded on a desert island, what one thing would you take with you?
My scuba gear I’d be more than happy diving around a tropical desert island!

Joanna Wood, Shape-it.org Programme Manager at Rhondda Cynon Taf
What did you do before Shape-it.org?
I worked as the Entertainment Services Manager for a VOD (Video on Demand) company called Yes Television in Cardiff Bay. We built Internet TV Channels and Digital TV solutions for customers in the Far East, America, Australia as well as companies in the UK
What are your qualifications?
BSc (Hons) Psychology
What’s the best thing about Shape-it.org?
I love the enthusiasm and excitement it has created, both within the Shape-it.org team and from the people in the community who are benefiting from it. I also think the TV channel is fantastic as it gives local people a showcase for their videos and music
What are your interests?
I have a passion for music, going to live gigs and the Glastonbury Festival is always the highlight of my social calendar. I also really enjoy sport, supporting Liverpool in football and Wales in rugby. I love spending time with my mates’ weather it be a night in the pub or a sunny afternoon in the park!
Are you married?
No, not my style at all
What’s your favourite colour?
Red – Bright red. Everything in my life would be red if I could manage it
What’s your favourite food?
Broccoli (not normal I know, but I love it)
What’s your favourite drink?
On a sunny day I enjoy a gin and tonic, if I am socialising with friends it is usually a pint of larger or a good red wine is great for a night in
If you were stranded on a desert island, what one thing would you take with you?
A fit young man!
